Musliu's September 9 statement was republished on September 16, creating a link to the decision in The Hague.

A Facebook page named “Reality" published an article on September 16 titled "'Now you will see the actions of the PDK', what is Ganimete Musliu warning about?"

The same post was then shared by other pages like "Albini for Prime Minister","51% with Albin"and "Pan-Albanian movement".

The posts were published on the day the verdict against the former KLA leaders was announced in The Hague, creating the impression that Musliu's statement was related to the decision of the Special Court and that she was warning of PDK actions following this decision.

What's wrong with this content?

Ganimete Musliu's statement is real, but it was not made on September 16 and is not related to the decision of the Special Court announced that day, as the aforementioned pages attempt to present.

The statement was given on September 9, 2026, seven days before the verdict in The Hague, and in a completely different context, that of developments surrounding the constitution of the Kosovo Assembly.

Clan of Kosovo published the statement on September 9, at 11:02, with the same title. The article states that Musliu spoke before the start of the constitutive session, stating:

"Kosovo has no time to lose. We are beyond any deadline. This is the step that allows us to return to constitutionality. Now you will see the actions of the PDK."

In addition to the fact that the aforementioned sites published this content on September 16, the way it was presented by the website is also problematic.reality.net". The content was published on September 16, while Ganimete Musliu's statement was given on September 9.

What happened on September 16th?

On September 16, 2026, the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague announced the verdict in the “Thaci and Others” case.

The verdict came on the very day that several Facebook pages republished Ganimete Musliu's September 9 statement.

This re-publication may create the impression that the statement is a new reaction to the decision in The Hague.

How has it been interpreted by some commentators?

In the comments of such posts, it is noticeable that some users have read the statement as a warning made after the verdict in The Hague, linking the “actions of the PDK” with the conviction of former KLA leaders (see here, here, here and here).
