The headlines do not clarify which country made this decision.

FATBARDH DEMA

Several dubious portals with content in Albanian have published on July 22 and 23 an article titled "The hottest weekend! Businesses are ordered to close from 12:00 to 16:00, otherwise a fine of 2000 euros."

After fact-checking conducted by hibrid.info, it has been confirmed that the title of this article is a generalization that does not clarify which country this decision was made by.

The news is clarified only in the content, where it is announced that the decision was made by the Greek state authorities.

Knowing that these dubious portals publish articles related to Albanian-speaking countries (see here, here and here), this may misinform readers that the decision was made by an Albanian-speaking country.

This article has also been published on several Facebook pages such as "Aktuale", "Pak nga te Ghia" and "Blici sot". (see here, here and here)

To further prove the fact that such a decision was made by the authorities in Greece, hibrid.info has found the article published in several Greek media. (see here and here)

Analyze:

Doubtful portals with content in Albanian have published an article regarding a decision made by Greece, however, the title does not clarify which country is being referred to.

Based on the articles that these portals publish, most of which deal with Albanian-speaking countries, the failure to provide information about the country that made this decision could very easily result in misinforming readers, making them think that the decision was made by an Albanian-speaking country.

Based on the working methodology, hibrid.info evaluates this article as "Clickbait".

Reasoning:

The “Clickbait” rating is given to texts whose titles have no basis in the content of the following text. Such texts and articles aim to attract the attention of the reader or even the consumer with a sensational title by promising content that does not actually exist and are created mainly out of financial interest, that is, due to increased readability. So, this type of text is intended only to click, which can be converted into a profit for the content producer.
