A video has been published on TikTok in which analyst Shkëlzen Gashi is heard saying on the "Rubikon" show on KlanKosova that he will support Përparim Rama for mayor of Pristina.
"Shkelzen Gashi: I will vote for Perparim Rama, it fascinates me that now the pedestrian is the first", says the caption of the video in which Gashi says he will vote for Rama for mayor of the capital. The material was published on Tuesday (November 4) on TikTok by the account “FaktePlus".
Why is this content being addressed?
The truth is that this is old video footage. Shkëlzen Gashi had offered his support for Rama four years ago, when Rama was running for mayor of Pristina for the first time.
But because Rama is also running for a mandate in the local elections in Pristina, the recently released video may imply that it is about Gashi's support for Rama on the eve of the November 9 runoff.
The publication has received about 40 thousand views, until the moment of treatment by hibrid.info. The post has received over 300 likes and has 21 comments. Among the comments there are users who knew that it was old content, but also those who interpreted Gashi's statement as new.
After verifying the facts, hibrid.info has found the real material published by KlanKosovo channel on October 11, 2021 on YouTube.
The difference between the original KlanKosova publication and the TikTok post is that in the content being addressed, a statement by Gashi has been retracted stating that "My vote goes to Mr. Rama, and to the Assembly for the Vetevendosje Movement."
Gashi, in a Facebook post on September 24, 2025, commented on this video material, criticizing himself for the support given to Rama. (see here)

On November 9, the second round of local elections will be held in Pristina. Përparim Rama of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) will face Hajrulla Çeku of the Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV).
