Through a video published on Facebook (see here) it is alleged that the prosecutor of the Kosovo Specialist Chambers, Alan Tieger, stated that Hashim Thaçi and Kadri Veseli personally killed many Serbian police officers and that they had no right to do so.
In the same video, another part of the statement is heard, in which Tieger speaks of Thaçi and Veseli as key figures of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA).
What's wrong with this content?
After verifying the official transcript of the hearing and analyzing the video through an artificial intelligence-generated content detection tool, hibrid.info found that the statement presented in the video contains a part that does not appear in the official transcript.
FACTS
Hibrid.info initially researched the official website of the Kosovo Specialist Chambers, where the transcript was found. session of February 9, 2026, during which the Prosecution's closing statements were presented in the court case against Hashim Thaçi and others.
In this transcript The statement attributed to Alan Tieger in the video is missing:
"Thaci and Veseli have personally killed many Serbian police officers and had no right to do so."
Meanwhile, the rest of the statement posted on the video is found in the official transcript. On pages 15 and 16 of it (see here), Tieger is heard saying:
"Hashim Thaçi and Kadri Veseli, friends since they were students, have been key players in this process and have been on the front lines of the KLA since the beginning." (see photo below).
So, the comparison shows that the video contains a part of the statement that matches the official transcript, but also another part that is not found in it.
