On Sunday (June 22), the Facebook page "KosovaLajm.net" published a content where it was claimed that after US airstrikes on nuclear facilities, Iran has rejected negotiations and warned of serious consequences, while the US, the EU and world leaders are calling for calm and a diplomatic solution.
This content was illustrated with a photograph showing buildings destroyed by bombing, with the claim that it represents the center of Tel Aviv.
But what's wrong with this content?
After verification, it was found that this image does not depict Tel Aviv after a real attack, but is a sequence taken from a video generated with artificial intelligence.
Based on the results from the reverse image search, the photo was taken from a video posted on June 14th on the Instagram account with the username @3amelyon.
Distortions in videos indicate that the content is generated by artificial intelligence. Clear examples of this are the visual collision of cars on the road, the appearance of vehicles inside each other, or the sudden appearance of cars in the middle of the road - typical elements of distortions that occur during AI creation.
Furthermore, the account's bio stated that the content was created with the help of artificial intelligence. We also noticed that this account regularly shared videos generated through artificial intelligence tools.
