A video material has been published with a caption claiming that the Kosovo Police has launched an action to confiscate vehicles whose drivers install devices to increase their noise.
This content was published on TikTok on May 19, by an account named "mossii022".
The truth?
Hibrid.info has found that there is no official confirmation that the Kosovo Police has launched such an action. Also, the Law on Road Traffic Regulations does not provide for the confiscation of vehicles in such cases.

Hibrid.info has checked the Kosovo Police website and this institution's Facebook page, but has not found any statement or announcement indicating the above alleged action (see here and here).
Also, after searching via Google, hibrid.info has not found any media reports regarding any action of this nature by the Kosovo Police (see here).
While, according to the Law on Road Traffic Regulations, published in the official gazette on March 19, hibrid.info has found that in such cases, confiscation of vehicles is not foreseen (see here).
Article 173 on the use of special sound and light devices indicates the cases when they may be installed. Paragraph 5 of this article provides that a driver who participates in traffic with devices installed in violation of this article shall be fined, banned from driving for up to three months, and the installed device shall be confiscated.
Regarding noise, it is clarified in Article 230 of this Law, on environmental protection.
