Old article claiming war in Kosovo, based on conspiracy theories, is published as current

HIBRID

A Facebook page named "Tringa Globale" published today (February 13) a post about a statement by conspiracy theorist Arian Sllamniku.

Based on the caption on the post, the conspiracist in the statement warned of war in Kosovo during November or December 2023.

But after verification by hibrid.info, it has been confirmed that Sllamnik's statement and the article related to this statement were published in October of last year (2023).

Attached to this post is a link to an article posted by the dubious portal "xnews7.net", which had published the article about this statement by Arian Sllamnik on October 15, 2023 (see here).

While the article of the dubious portal is also based on an interview with Sllamnik, published on Facebook, by the portal "Lajmi.net" (see here).

Based on these findings, it has been proven that the publication of the "Tringa Globale" website on Sllamnik's statement is old news. While hibrid.info has also addressed Sllamnik's own claim regarding his warnings of an armed conflict in Kosovo in November or December (2023).

In addition to the terrorist attack on September 24, in Banjska, Zvecan, against the Kosovo Police (here), hibrid.info, after researching using search engines, has not found other similar cases that occurred in Kosovo, in the period of November and December of last year (see here).

Analyze:

The news published by a Facebook page about a statement by conspiracist Arian Sllamnik has been confirmed to be old.

Meanwhile, Sllamnik's claim of inevitable armed conflict during November and December, in 2023, turns out to be incorrect.

Therefore, based on the working methodology, hibrid.info evaluates this content as "Clickbait" and "Conspiracy Theory".

Rating:

“Clickbait” is considered to be informational content whose title is general and does not disclose the location of the event, context and relevance. Such texts and articles aim to attract the attention of the audience with sensational headlines with misleading consequences, which do not accurately clarify the content of the article. “Clickbait” headlines are mainly made to attract readability in the case of media publications and/or to earn from clicks in the case of commercial publications.

"Conspiracy theories" are considered to be informational content that contains a false or unverifiable description of a phenomenon, event or person, presenting it as part or the result of a secret plan ("conspiracy"). The characteristic of these contents is that they present a series of claims, presented as facts, between which cause-effect relationships are established, without providing any reliable evidence.
