An article has been published claiming that Vjosa Osmani, the president of Kosovo, has declared that Kosovo and the United States of America together have the strongest army in the world.
The article was published on Thursday (September 4) on the Russian propaganda domain "albania.news-pravda.com".
The content was initially published on the Telegram channel named "wartimedia".
What's wrong with the content?
Hibrid.info has found that such a statement did not come from President Osmani.

Attached to the article is a photo of a post on the "X" platform, showing President Osmani with the caption of the statement allegedly made by her.
It is not visible in this photo who made this post on "X".
Hibrid.info has done a manual search on the “X” in the caption of this post and found that this content was published on Wednesday (September 3) by an account named “kos_data” (see here).
Hibrid.info also checked President Osmani's account on "X" to verify whether this post appears in the content space published by her, but it was not found (see here). This content was not found on President Osmani's Facebook account either (see here).
The photo showing Osmani with soldiers was taken during her visit on September 21, 2024, to the US Military Academy at West Point (see here).
Analyze:
The claim that Kosovo's president, Vjosa Osmani, has ever made a statement that Kosovo and the US together have the strongest army in the world is unfounded.
Hibrid.info found that none of Vjosa Osmani's official sources of information contain such a statement, and the post was distributed by an unofficial account on "X", which was then interpreted as Osmani's statement.
Therefore, based on its work methodology, hibrid.info assesses the content as "Fake News".
Reasoning:
The “Fake News” rating is given to informational content that is entirely fabricated or that contains factually incorrect claims or information. Content that is rated as fake news can be defined as having been created and distributed with the intent to misinform the public, i.e., to present a claim that is completely false as fact.
