Some media outlets had reported that at the May 12 rally of the Vetëvendosje movement, there were no Kosovo state flags and that participants only held Albanian national flags.
Among the media outlets that have published such reports has been the Public Radio and Television of Kosovo (RTK).

Fake news
"A few minutes ago, the Vetëvendosje Movement rally began in honor of the 15th anniversary of the party's founding.
In this gathering, which is also attended by the highest leaders of the LVV, led by Albin Kurti, the recommendations of the National Institute of Health are not being respected at all.
While those present who are participating in the rally are holding the red and black flag in their hands, flags of other countries but not that of the Republic of Kosovo.
This VV rally comes just a few days after the overthrow of Kurti, who led the institutions of the Republic for only 52 days.

Although at the rally, according to the publication of footage and photographs taken during the event, the presence of red and black flags was seen to dominate, there was also a presence of the flag of the state of Kosovo, albeit to a small extent.

After analysis by hibrid.info, it turns out that these reports were not accurate and, as such, were classified as fake news, dissemination of fake news, and disinformation.
Fake news – because the reports themselves contained factually incorrect claims or information.
Spreading fake news – because the media spread this news without verifying it.
Disinformation – because the reports contained inaccurate sources or even half-truthful content.
