It is alleged that a Serbian citizen in Mitrovica was fined 500 euros by the Kosovo Police (KP) after he filmed the arrest of several young Serbs.
This post claims that this citizen refused to show his personal documents and was intoxicated, and that the police took his phone and deleted the footage showing the moment of the arrest of several young Serbs.
This claim was posted on the social media Telegram by the Serbian-language accounts “БУНТ је стънде духа” (REBELION is a state of mind) and “БУНКЕР” (BUNKER).
In this post, in addition to the claim, a fine imposed by the KP was also published.
The truth?
After fact-checking conducted by hibrid.info, it has been confirmed that the photograph showing the document (fine) does not specify that the punishment against this citizen was imposed after filming the moment of the arrest of several young Serbs.

What does it say in the fine issued by the Police? (Original text)
THE HIGH-ranking official was seen in a drunken state in public and refused to submit a police report when requested. ALCOHOL WAS TESTED WITH A BREATH TEST WITH SERIAL NUMBER A420332
The sentence was based on law 03/L142 (Law on Public Order and Peace).
What does Article 9 of this Law say?
Drunkenness in a public place
1. Anyone who appears in a public place visibly intoxicated or under the influence of controlled substances
(narcotics), not used according to therapy and endangers oneself, other persons or property, is punishable
for a misdemeanor.
2. The perpetrator of the offense referred to in paragraph 1 of this article shall be punished by a fine of thirty (30) to five hundred(500) Euros or imprisonment for up to thirty (30) days.
Analyze:
It is claimed without evidence that a Serbian citizen in Mitrovica was fined 500 euros after he filmed the arrest of several young Serbs and that the police then took his phone and deleted the footage.
Based on the fine imposed by the KP, which appears in the post, it is clarified that a fine of 500 euros was imposed on this person, after he appeared in a drunken state in public and refused to submit the notification letter.
Based on its work methodology, hibrid.info assesses this claim as "Disinformation".
Reasoning:
"Disinformation" is defined as information content that contains a "mix" of inaccurate sources or even half-truthful attributes, and that is created and/or distributed with the deliberate intention of causing harm. The motive behind the producers/distributors of disinformation content lies in achieving a political, financial, psychological or social goal.
