Through a video published on Facebook, it is alleged that the leader of the Serbian Radical Party, Vojislav Seselj, has stated that the indictment against Hashim Thaçi and the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) was drafted in Belgrade.
What's wrong with this content?
After fact-checking by Hibrid.info, it was confirmed that this statement was not made by Seselj in the show from which the footage was taken. Also, the audio was generated through artificial intelligence (AI).
The video was found and published by a Facebook social media page and account (see here, here, here, here, here, here, here and here).
The video, which was shared by various Facebook pages and accounts, contains footage of Vojislav Seselj speaking in Serbian, while Albanian subtitles have been placed over the video.
The video claims that Seselj said:
"The indictment against Thaçi and the KLA was written in Belgrade. We provided the witnesses, the files and the drafting of the indictment. The Special Court only sealed our findings. We even found a large part of the Albanian witnesses. More Albanians testified against the KLA than against Milosevic."
Hibrid.info has found EMISSION full from which the part published on social networks was separated and its content verified.
In the description of show published on June 26 on YouTube is said to be a format in which Seselj, while browsing the morning press, analyzes current topics reported on the front pages of newspapers.
However, the full broadcast does not include the statement attributed to Seselj in the video shared on Facebook.
So, the footage of Seselj was taken from a real show, but the audio and subtitles that attribute the statement about the indictment against Thaçi and the KLA to him do not match what was said in the original show.
In addition, the description of this show also indicates the topics that were discussed. The description states that topics such as:

Searching for the source of the claim
Hibrid.info has also conducted research in Albanian and Serbian for the alleged statement (see here and here).
The research has not uncovered any media reports or credible sources documenting that Seselj stated that the indictment against Thaçi and the KLA was drafted in Belgrade, or that the witnesses and files for this case were prepared by the Serbian side.
Hibrid.info has also analyzed the video's audio through several platforms that offer speech detection created or manipulated with artificial intelligence.
The results have yielded the following estimates: Hive Moderation: 57.2% probability that the audio is AI-generated, Detect Deepfakes: 86% and Diopter.ai: 75% (see pictures below).
